Wear Purple for Hospice 15-22 June 2025

Ipswich Hospice Turn Purple Week starts on 15 June, the birthday of our founder, Hilda des Arts and runs through to 22 June. During this special week, you can choose any day that suits you to wear purple, host a morning tea, or hold a purple themed event — all to raise vital funds for Ipswich Hospice.

Whether you’re a school, workplace, community group or individual, your support helps ensure we can continue to provide compassionate, high-quality palliative care and bereavement support for the West Moreton community.

How to get involved

Get creative and choose any day during 15–22 June to host your fundraiser. Some ideas include:

  • Wear purple to work or school
  • Hold a morning or afternoon tea
  • Host a purple-themed trivia night, BBQ or bake sale
  • Decorate your business or home in purple

Let us know you’re joining in! We’ll provide you with the information you need to forward your donations.

Use our downloadable Wear Purple for Hospice flyer and share your event on social media. Don’t forget to tag Ipswich Hospice!

We’d love to see your photos! Tag us or send them to admin@ipswichhospice.org.au and help inspire others to get involved.

💜 Why Your Support Matters

Ipswich Hospice is a not-for-profit organisation providing specialised palliative care in a peaceful, home-like setting. We also offer bereavement services to families across the region. Every dollar raised during Turn Purple Week helps ensure our care remains accessible to all who need it free of charge.
