Friends of Hospice

The Friends of Hospice auxiliary formed in 1996 is an initiative developed by a group of volunteers committed to raising funds for the purchase of items which may enhance the quality of life and care of the guests at Hospice.

Items have included medical equipment, supplies, furniture, air-conditioning units for each guest room and other items of support to guests and their families.

Friends of Hospice raises funds for the support of Hospice through the operation of a second hand bookstore at the top of Brisbane Street Ipswich. The store is managed and operated by a group of dedicated volunteers.
