Local Ipswich Celebrity Chefs to headline Ipswich Hospice Jacaranda Dinner

Ipswich Hospice is extremely excited to announce that supporting the first Ipswich Hospice Jacaranda Dinner are Nicole Stevenson from Channel Ten’s recent season of MasterChef and Winners of Channel 7’s My Kitchen Rules Amy and Tyson.

Twenty-five-year-old Ipswich local, Nicole Stevenson, was born and raised in Ipswich and recently competed on MasterChef Australia. Inspired by her Dutch heritage, she learned to cook from her Mother and Oma, and has a passion for healthy eating and nutrition. Nicole is looking forward to being a part of the event and meeting more people in the Ipswich community.

Winners of the last season of My Kitchen Rules, Amy and Tyson Murr, will also be gracing us with their presence at the event. The dynamic duo, who are also Ipswich locals are quite familiar with Ipswich Hospice and it will be an honour to have them as ambassadors for the organisation at the event.

The Jacaranda Dinner will be held on Saturday the 14th of October in partnership with Orion Springfield Central and the Goodna Jacaranda Festival.  The black tie evening will feature a 5-course mini degustation with paired wines, canapes from local Ipswich celebrity chefs and entertainment.

The aim of the event is to raise much needed funds so Ipswich Hospice can continue to provide a high quality of care to the Ipswich and West Moreton community, in addition to bringing awareness to the services provided by the community owned and run facility.

President of the Jacaranda Festival, Mathew Taylor explains “The Jacaranda Festival exists to bring people together and support the community. Ipswich Hospice provides great support to our community in a time of great need, and so it is our honour to be able to support them with their inaugural Jacaranda Dinner.”

The Jacaranda Dinner is about not only bringing awareness to the mission of Ipswich Hospice but also having a night filled with entertainment, celebration and most importantly raising funds for a great cause.

We hope that lots of local businesses will get behind us with this event and we can raise record amounts of money”.

The evening will also include other forms of entertainment and is a night to definitely not be missed. Tickets can be purchased at ipswichhospice.org.au/jacaranda at $155 per person which include a 5- course meal, wines and entertainment.
